Cave and Basin Birds

A walking we went to the Cave and Basin trail..

Along the way we spotted Oodles of Magpies...


A group of far away Common Merganser (4-5 Males and 1 Female)


A Pair of Barrows Goldeneye


One Common Loon (who played tag with us along the end of the trail)


And a whole bunch of Robins!!



Also Spotted - Canada Geese, Mallards, Crow, Bald Eagle, Bufflehead, Coot, Common Goldeneye,  Ring Necked Duck, Green Winged Teal, A Scaup or two of unknown type, An American Wigeon paid, Red Breasted Nuthatch, Mountain Chickadee, and Ruby and Golden Crowned Kinglets!

  1. 'Course I love your duckies! And the robin busy making nest is another sure sign of spring!

    1. it was cool, the robin was going after the berries on the tree.. would like levitate to catch em!
