Decided today was the perfect day to go birding in Estevan.. Was a balmy -30 when we headed out.. Spotted this visitor to the home feeders before we left.. Our resident Hairy Woodpecker
While Driving through Estevan, Spotted this Mourning Dove.. Had hopes for a Collared, but it didnt happen..
Headed out to the Dam.. Spotted a Hooded Merganser first out.. (a New Bird for me!)
A very mist covered Bufflehead Female..
Through the mist, also spotted this beauty of a Common Goldeneye.. (Another New Bird!)
Througout the Day, I also spotted-
Grouse (Sharp Tailed)
Snow Buntings
Ravens
Ring Necked Pheasants
House Sparrow
Mallards
Lessar Scaup
Common Redpoll
When we went to leave, spotted the first of several dozen deer.. Mostly Mule Deer.. Including this beautiful Buck
One of the herds of the muleys spotted
