When NOT to drive through the mountains

Lets go for a drive I said.. It will be FUN I said.. erm...    It started off nice!!
We did the Kananaskis Trail out by Canmore.. It started off snowing.. Great!!

Grid roads dont really get maintained though...

Nice curve ahead!! Cleared up for us to see...

Then the snow REALLY got bad

I mean, REALLY bad...

Thankfully once we got onto the highway it cleared up a lot more.. We avoided hitting a boulder in the middle of the road (OKay, a rock bigger then my head)..
We went back to banff, and then went and sat in the pub for a bit to relax after that one..
