A little flock (okay Herd if you are being non birder) Of White tailed deer was hanging around.. they didn't seem too impressed by me..

On a day filled with Black Capped Chickadees.. Spotting one of these little guys was a welcome surprise!!

Wherein the Cat Hates me

Sooo.. I got a new lens (Pretty 50mm Nikon).. but nobody will pose for me!! Ive heard wonders of its low light capabilities, and so decided to try it out.. on the cat... the cat which HATES pictures..

First - Direct flash.. can you see the hate building?

So I got a diffuser (Puffer Plus)... and.. it works.. but shes still not happy..

See how impressed she is?? (Working on focusing and stuff.. just her eye is clear.. weird)

Alright, so this is my nemesis bird.. this bird HATES posing for me... and then.. this happened...    There eventually were 3 of em in the tree right above me while I was out watching ducks...   Havent gotten a good shot since this in 2012...  LOL
