Feeding Rituals of Redpolls?

I was watching the Redpolls, and I noticed this red guy up on the feeder dropping a bunch of seeds down!! He would crack them and drop them..

After watching for a bit, I saw this little one down below (actually there were two), eating all the seeds he was dropping!

Mating Rituals? Opportunistic? Only they seem to know!

Got lots of kitty attention over the weekend.. so of course I had fun taking their pictures!!

Apparently Black kitty had a Cold paw!

Sun is sometimes a rare commodity here during the winter.. but with the cold it produces some gorgeous sunrises!!

This is during some sundogs we had one morning,, the sun was gorgeous and glowing up!

Our little Weather reader - The redpolls were spinning on it!

Can you play Cat and Mouse without a mouse? Apparently so!! Black kitty waited for kitten to pop out... then ATTACK!!

Even the woodpecker thinks its funny!

and kittys were there to watch everything! (and were very kind in helping me bird by meowing at the birds in the trees)

Frosty Dreams

Went out on a lovely walk, looking at all the Hoarfrost... This fence was made gorgeous!

Walking in the Snow...

Went out to hunt birds in the snow.. Got myself all geared up, settled in the snow.. camera at the ready... and I looked over as the first of the kittens decided to come join me.. within ONE minute, I had all 4 sitting on me (okay, 1 on each shoulder, 1 attacking my jacket zipper, and 1 sitting on my boot..).. Needless to say, the Birds disapeared..

But the Kittens were cute!
