Blog on Hiatus

I am sorry to say, that the blog will be on Hiatus for the next little while... at least until the little Bambino arrives and I can get back out and taking pictures!
I haven't been able to get out too much lately, so I apologize for the lack of posts before this!

Favourite Shots of the Year - Pine Grosbeak

With the new beast (aka the camera of DOOM) in hand, and a lot of frustration (HOW Do I change my settings again??)  I set out to photograph birds..  Luckily they were in a cooperative mood..
I think these are some of my fav shots I have taken over the past year or so.. This Pine Grosbeak was being quite photogenic... I hope you agree!

I confess, as I rarely see the pine grosbeaks, I am in LOVE with photographing them!
This one was in the branches of a large tree, right near the trunk!
